How to Use the Milkies Freeze
- Freeze — In — Out
Freezing and storing milk:
- Cool your milk before freezing.
- Fill a breast milk storage bag with 2-8 ounces of breast milk.
- Lay bag flat on the quick freeze tray until frozen.
- When frozen, place into the top slot with top side of bag facing out.
Removing and thawing milk:
- Remove a frozen storage bag from the bottom slot.
- Thaw slowly in refrigerator or cool water.
Separation is normal, swirl gently to mix.
Breast milk expands when frozen, be careful not to overfill bags.
