Combing your mustache, and then trimming, gives you a much straighter cut than pulling down and holding the hair with the comb while you trim. To keep your scissors working their best, wipe the blades with a dry cloth after use and store them in a dry place. And remember, only use them to cut hair.
- Comb your dry mustache hair to remove any loose hair or snarls.
- Carefully trim your hair to the desired length in slow, even cuts.
- After you’ve finished cutting, re-comb your mustache and trim any strays.
Note: Do not pull your hair taut and hold it with the comb to trim. This gives uneven results, especially if you’re cutting wet hair.
